Berlin calls to “ensure the necessary support” for kyiv in the face of the Russian offensive on Kharkiv

The German Foreign Ministry called on Friday, May 10, to “provide support” to Ukraine in the face of the Russian offensive on Kharkiv, in the north-east of the country. “The residents of Kharkiv continue to courageously resist Russia’s constant bombing. An ongoing ‘fierce battle’ in the Kharkiv border region. One civilian was killed and five others were injured in Vovchansk during strikes during the morning, the regional governor said, adding that another civilian was killed in a strike in a town north of Kharkiv. The Russian army also carried out strikes with guided aerial bombs, said kyiv, which said it had deployed reserve units to “strengthen the defense” of the region.
