For weeks, in Monfalcone, near Venice (Italy), Muslims have been forced to pray in the street after their places of worship were closed by the far-right municipality. The mayor refuses to reverse her decision, while the Council of State refuses to appoint a mediator.
A Caravaggio discovered in Spain
A painting by Caravaggio was found in Spain. In 2021, it was almost sold for 1,500 euros. It was then thought that the painting came from a disciple of the painter. But the Prado Museum stopped the sale and the work was restored. “Ecce homo” will be exceptionally exhibited at the Prado until the end of October, before joining a private collection.
