Artificial intelligence, progress or a threat? We explore the subject with children at the microphone in "Hello info!" this week. (ZELDA ZONK / ASTRAPI / BAYARD PRESSE)

Every week, the “Hi news!” podcast. tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of Franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. The children speak throughout the program: to comment on current events, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell jokes. To co-present this week’s episode, presenter Estelle welcomes Faustine, 9 years old, who comes from Var.

Let’s go for the Olympic flame!

On the program for this new episode, a constantly topical subject which provokes a lot of debate: artificial intelligence and its place in our daily lives. Progress or threat? We explore the subject with children at the microphone.

The news is also the start of the great marathon of the Olympic flame: it has just been handed over to France and it will soon arrive on our shores. Agathe, a listener who lives in Athens in Greece, tells us about the ceremony which was held on April 26 in the Greek capital, the land of the first Olympics!

Screens and children, new recommendations

Mobile phone, television, computer, tablet… These objects have invaded our daily lives. But how much should children consume, especially the youngest? A report has just issued recommendations, we explain everything to the first people concerned: our young listeners!

In our “We tell each other everything” section, Coline tells us about a problem: she sucks her thumb to fall asleep. “How to stop?”, she asks us. With the help of a psychologist, “Hi news!” gives him advice.

Finally, we listen to three jokes from children left on the show’s answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00. And our listener of the week, Faustine, shares with us her passion for animals and her favorite memory.

Good listening !
