Mathilde Panot and Rima Hassan, two personalities from La France insoumise (LFI), were summoned by the judicial police on Tuesday April 30 for “apology of terrorism”. Their party talks about censorship and political exploitation. Rima Hassan, number 7 on the LFI list for the next European elections, is singled out for publicly apologizing for an act of terrorism, committed through an online public communication service. The pro-Palestinian activist is accused of legitimizing the actions of Hamas against the State of Israel on October 7.
