Columbus Crew head coach Wilfried Nancy received a nice vote of confidence from his bosses.
Indeed, the former CF Montreal pilot extended his adventure with the Ohio team on Wednesday. However, the duration of the agreement was not disclosed.

“Wilfried [Nancy] has delivered on its promise in every way and more, thanks to its leadership and dedication to entertaining football. We are confident that through his collective leadership and that of our team, we can continue to build on the foundation that has been laid and consistently compete for championships for our fans and the city of Columbus,” said Tim Bezbatchenko, the president of the Crew, in a press release published on the club’s website.
Hired in December 2022, Nancy led the American franchise to the MLS Cup in 2023, posting a 24-10-13 regular season performance since his arrival in Columbus.
This season, the Crew has a 3-4-1 record, good for 13 points and fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
CF Montreal will also face Columbus on April 27 at Lower.com Field.
