The Berri-UQAM metro station was evacuated at midday on Wednesday due to irritant gas being sprayed following a fight on a green line platform. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene. The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) does not know how many people have been inconvenienced by what could be cayenne pepper.
Metro service was interrupted on the green line, between Atwater and Viau stations, as well as on the orange line, between Lionel-Groulx and Beaubien stations.
