The great festival of traditional Occitan games will take place this year. The Ringueta is planned the first weekend of June in Sarlat, June 4 and 5. It has been two years since the event was canceled because of the health crisis. It usually brings together several thousand people for these traditional games: wheelbarrow racing, tug of war but also Occitan dances and a grand ball.
The Ringueta is organized by volunteers from the association of the same name. They organize their general assembly on Friday January 21 at 8:30 p.m. in the Pierre Denoix room at Colombier (in the old hospital) in Sarlat.
