The too-short life of American actor Chris Farley will be told in the cinema.
Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell by Clint Eastwood, the series Blackbird for which he won Golden Globe and Emmy awards) will play the actor who died of an overdose in 1997, at the age of 33.
This will be the first production of Josh Gad, best known for being the voice of Olaf in Frozen. The screenplay by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber is based on the book The Chris Farley Show: A Biography in Three Actswritten by Tom Farley Jr, brother of Chris, and Tanner Colby.
Lorne Michaels, who unearthed the hilarious actor for Saturday Night Life, is one of the producers of the biopic. After six years SNLChris Farley continued his film career with leading roles in Tommy Boy, Black Sheep And Beverly Hills Ninja.
