This is why the 3rd referendum is lost in advance

With young people who have left Quebec to embrace other fashionable causes and a metropolis which, while sneering with its mayor, denies its founding by the French, the referendum strategy of Lévesque and Parizeau is lost in advance.

There will be no victorious “next time”, as René Lévesque prophesied on the evening of the first referendum defeat in 1980.

This next time has already happened, in 1995, but not in the desired way…

With all due respect to my respected colleague Joseph Facal who wrote in these pages that Quebec should not be afraid of this 3^e referendum, this twice-losing strategy should be avoided.

Defection from Montreal

Historians of the Louisianaization of Quebec will award a star to distinguished player Valérie Plante. This repeats the falsehood of a Montreal Mohawk territory. She recently took it into her head to say that the Scots, the Irish and the English also “founded” Montreal.

This is all false. What is true is that M^me Plante wants to disaffiliate Montreal from Quebec.

Quickly! Let Quebec denounce the lie of “unceded territory”!

Quickly! Let Quebec rebuke the mayor for her Trudeauist rewrite!

Quickly! May Quebec also put an end to the shameful colonial expression of “province”! The expression “state of Quebec” should now apply, as recommended by Jean Lesage.

These immediate measures would be more beneficial than hopes for a third referendum… or even a “sectoral referendum” like Legault, who is getting another slap in the face from his lord Trudeau.
