End of life: Requests “much less important than we imagine”, says a palliative care doctor

These requests are much less important than we imagine., argues Claire Fourcade. “Currently, we have the possibility, it is written in the law, to implement deep sedation, which is in fact general anesthesia., adds the doctor. She believes that this project “gives back to the doctor very great power”, a power “which we don’t want”she says.
