It made it possible to put an “end” to a mystery that had lasted for eight months. On March 30, 2024, a hiker found the skull of little Emile who had been missing since July 8, 2023. She, living near Haut-Vernet, found the bones of the little boy while she was walking.
Not being in possession of a cell phone, the sixty-year-old decided to bring the bones back with her to then notify investigators of her discovery. They questioned her for several hours.
Since then, the investigation has progressed and the Aix-en-Provence prosecutor even revealed that the clothes of the two and a half year old boy were found not far from the location of the bones. Regarding the hiker, she made new revelations to BFMTV this Tuesday April 9, 2024.

Only the top of little Emile’s head?
The retiree gave more details about the bones of little Emile, which send chills down your spine. According to him, the remains found were “white, clean”.
