The toll was revised upwards on Saturday in Kharkiv: seven dead and around ten injured, after a new “double strike” last night. A type of attack that the Russian army has repeated in recent days, against Ukrainian civilians.

Nighttime strikes on homes, twice in 48 hours, and in a district of Kharkiv, a gas station and a shopping center also affected. The damage is significant :3 600 windows blown out, according to the mayor. And in the hours that follow, the same scene as the day before yesterday : a major cleaning and machines that clear the debris.

Because it was S-300 missiles that sowed death among residents and employees of the gas station. With once again this Russian tactic of a “double strike” on civilians : time for help to arrive on site, and Vladimir Putin’s army targets the same place, a second time, causing new damage and new victims. This is what cost the lives of three rescuers two days ago.
Kharkiv also suffers drone attacks on energy infrastructure : for two weeks, the noise of the generators has returned, on the sidewalks. Because for several hours every day, Ukraine’s second city is completely without power.
