Sunday April 7 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. The actor Dorcy Rugamba, the political scientist Niagalé Bagayoko and the documentarian Thomas Zribi were the guests of 12/13 info.
Between April and July 1994, a million people were massacred in Rwanda. On April 7, 1994, Dorcy Rugamba, actor and figure in the artistic scene of this country, lost his parents and six of his brothers and sisters. He subsequently wrote a letter in the hope of building a common conscience. According to him, this consciousness “took a long time and is starting to take time 30 years later”. “The nature of the crime was not immediately identified”he explains.
