The draft orientation law on agriculture is presented on Wednesday April 3 to the Council of Ministers. This project must, among other things, promote the transmission and settlement of young people. No measures concerning phytosanitary products
According to Cécile Claveirole, vice-president of France Nature Environnement (FNE), the proposed measures are “short-term gifts, and are not answers to the majority of farmers who were on the blockades and in the demonstrations”. For the vice-president of the FNSEA, the reduction of constraints will push young people to settle down. Cécile Claveirole recalls that a “breeding of 30 or 50 cows, on grass, does not need authorization for breeding buildings”. She regrets that there are not yet measures for phytosanitary products.
