Matyas Melovsky collected four points, scoring two goals, and the Drakkar defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 4-1 on Saturday in Baie-Comeau.
Melovsky scored the first goal of the game 66 seconds into the game, then added the insurance goal midway through the third period.
In the meantime, he prepared the goals of his teammates Félix Gagnon and Justin Poirier on the power play. The Drakkar thus took advantage of its only two sequences with an extra player.

Olympics 1 – Huskies 2
Bill Zonnon scored his third goal in the series and the Huskies defeated the Gatineau Matériaux 2-1 in Rouyn-Noranda.
Zonnon scored a double in the first victory for his team, who lead 2-0 in the series. Last year, the Londres swept the Huskies in four games in the second round.
Alex Carr also hit the target for the local favorites. After his shutout the day before, William Rousseau once again shone with 37 saves.
Zach Pelletier, for his part, stopped 27 shots in a losing cause. Justin Boisselle was his only teammate to find the back of the net.
Cataracts 1 – Tigers 5
Maxime Pellerin definitely gave his team the lead at the end of the first period and the Tigres won 5-1 against the Shawinigan Cataractes in Victoriaville.

Oceanic 3 – Eagles 7
Cam Squires totaled four points, including a goal, helping the Cape Breton Eagles win 7-3 against the Rimouski Océanic.
Squires has two goals and eight points in two playoff games so far. His team leads 2-0 in the series.
Jacob Newcombe (two goals) and Olivier Houde (one goal) both had three points. Lucas Romeo, Luke Patterson and Xavier Daigle also made the red light shine. Nicolas Ruccia blocked 23 shots.
The reply came from Charle Truchon, Maël St-Denis and Jakub Hujer. William Lacelle was thrown out of the game after allowing seven goals on 36 shots.
Tempers flared at the end of the match, and 11 players were sent off from the match.
Armada 2 – Phoenix 3 (extension)
The Phoenix erased a two-goal deficit and Frantisek Dej ruled in their favor in overtime in a 3-2 victory against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, in Sherbrooke.
Dej had previously started his team’s comeback in the second period. Mavrick Lachance was the other scorer, and the Estrie team leads 2-0 in the series.
Emanuelson Charbonneau-Joseph and Olivier Lemieux had given the Armada the lead. Olivier Ciarlo finished the match with 36 saves.
Titan 2 – Mooseheads 1 (extension)
For a second night in a row in Halifax, Milo Roelens scored in overtime to give the Acadie-Bathurst Titan a 2-1 victory against the Mooseheads.
Antoine Keller stopped 35 pucks. Noah Laberge also moved the ropes in the victory.
Mathieu Cataford tied the game with 4:05 left in the third period to force an extra period. Mathis Rousseau made 28 saves.
Sea Dogs 2 – Voltigeurs 6
Peter Repcik and Vsevolod Komarov each scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-2 win for the Voltigeurs against the Saint-Jean Sea Dogs in Drummondville.
Noah Reinhart, Ethan Gauthier, Renaud Poulin and Mikael Diotte also threaded the needle in victory. Riley Mercer stopped 20 shots to help his team remain undefeated in two games in this series.
Tyler Peddle and Brody Fournier were the scorers for the Sea Dogs.
