And it was Meghan Markle who was crowned “the smartest member of the British royal family”. She topped the class with her degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., Which ranks 30th on a list of 1,300 institutions in the latest QS World Rankings. She graduated in 2003 with double degrees in theater and international relations.
“Life as a royal is not always an easy job and involves a lot of facing scrutiny and life in the limelight, and Meghan Markle’s academic strengths have her perfectly equipped for this role.”, a spokesperson for Oxford Royale told the Daily Express. “While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have stepped down as royals, they have captured the world’s interest and attention, and Meghan’s desire to use her platform to raise awareness of serious global issues reflects his intelligence, analytical mind and academic pedigree “.
Behind the ex-actress, we find Kate Middleton in second place and Prince William in third place. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge both attended St Andrew’s University in Scotland (ranked 92nd in the QS World Rankings), but Kate ranked higher than her husband as she surpassed him on level exams AT.
Prince Harry is notably absent from the list. Archie and Lilibet’s father was simply kicked out because he never graduated from a university even though he attended some of the UK’s most prestigious independent schools.
