One in two adults affected by 2050
These allergies are much more common than before, also confirms Damien Mascret. Against “1 to 2% in 1970, we exceeded 30% in 2010 and we are moving briskly towards 50%, or one in two adults, in 2050”, explains the doctor. A change that occurs “at any age”and may be due “changes in your immune system as you age”explains Damien Mascret.
