“I was afraid of bad people on social networks“, she notably revealed. At the start of her journey on the channel, the young woman was in fact the target of several particularly cruel messages. Some Internet users did not hesitate to insult her by calling her a “dirty shit“, attacks that are difficult to bear for the teacher who believes that there is “a lot of malice on Twitter (social network recently renamed X, editor’s note)“.

“It hurts”
During her interview with the star host of Channel 8, Cécile Chaduteau also admitted to having been hurt by these insults. “It hurts. We come to do our job, we try to give the best we can, I don’t see why we take this on ourselves, there is no reason to hear this kind of thing.”she added.
And to conclude: “Besides, I’m already not into this in the first place, neither in my education, nor in what I transmit. For me, networks are extraordinary precisely because we can stay in touch. I’m very close to people, I talk to them, I respond to them, I like, I repost. It’s not nice, it’s useless. Me I like constructive criticism“.
