A woman was taken into police custody after attacking hunters in Val-de-Virvée (Gironde) on Sunday March 17, reports France Bleu Gironde.
The woman declaring herself anti-hunting attacked a group of hunters early Sunday afternoon. According to the first elements of the investigation, she was in her vehicle when she came across around ten hunters who were on a hunt.
First, she insults the group by asserting her anti-hunting beliefs. But a few minutes later, she returned armed with a baton and a tear gas canister, spraying two of the hunters. Very upset, the woman gets back in her car, reverses and hits a hunter. The latter was evacuated to hospital. She presented herself to the police station later in the day and was taken into custody.
