Germany faces new transport strikes. Deserted stations, and disillusioned travelers. Despite legal action, train drivers walked off the job for the sixth time, in order to obtain a 35-hour week. “Recently, every time you want to travel with a German company, you have to expect a strike” ; “I have the impression that we go from strike to strike. At some point, we have to know when to stop”the travelers are indignant.
Strikes also in the air
At Frankfurt airport, 600 flights were canceled and 70,000 passengers impacted. The staffvigant of Lufthansa wants its share of the historic profits that the company announced. On Wednesday March 13, the movement will continue in Munich.
