The Returning Children Network unveils on Tuesday an image showing the aging of a child who went missing precisely six years ago, on March 12, 2018, in the north of Montreal.
The aged image of Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, who was ten years old when she disappeared from the Ahuntsic neighborhood, was produced by experts on the subject from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
Its unveiling aims to inform the public of the boy’s face today and to solicit any new information that could help the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) in its investigation into his disappearance.
Frédéric Kouakou, the father of Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, told Réseau Enfants-Retour that the unveiling of the image also aims to stimulate collective memory. Mélanie Aubut, executive director of the Returning Children Network, added that the organization remains alongside Ariel’s family and noted that every missing child deserves to be remembered.
Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou was seen leaving his home on foot to go to a friend’s house. Since then, he has never been seen again.
