Gaza: Americans continue to drop humanitarian aid

Negotiations for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas have stalled. Meanwhile, Gazans are suffering Israeli bombings. A humanitarian aid ship is ready to leave Cyprus.
In the Gaza Strip, hope now comes from the sky. Parachutes delivered humanitarian aid packages. Inside, fruit, canned goods, flour, but in too small a quantity. Palestinians fought to recover some packages. “The children run to get the food when the plane drops the aid, but it’s humiliating, it’s humiliating for us as Muslims”testifies Mahmoud, a resident.
A maritime corridor is planned
To help the Gazans, a first maritime corridor should be organized between Larnaca in Cyprus and the Gaza Strip. It should be able to transport 300,000 meals. “If we can get food in, then other people can too.”estimates Esther Camps, coordinator for the NGO Open Arms.
