Baissangour “Baki” Chamsoudinov given victory against Cédric Doumbè in confusion and by referee’s stop

The highly anticipated fight was interrupted in the third round by a referee’s stoppage, leading to a victory for “Baki” against Doumbè on Thursday in Bercy.

“I wanted to see a fight of a mentally ill person, not a fight that ends like that!”, regretted Cédric Doumbè as soon as this imbroglio was complete. And in this sport where direct invective (the famous trashtalking) are legion, he invited Doumbè to challenge him again “in a bigger room”. It wouldn’t really have any trouble filling up, since the nearly 20,000 seats at the Accor Arena were sold out in less than 20 minutes. Doumbè, a former kickboxing specialist beaten for the first time in PFL after five victories, will be keen to get back on track.
