The Limoges police managed to stop a suspected burglar, this Thursday evening, while she was monitoring a vehicle reported as stolen with her key. When a man reappeared to break into the vehicle on rue du Pont Saint Martial, the police neutralized the suspect.
Inside the car, the police have discovered a real loot hidden under a blanket: several Apple computers, a robot vacuum cleaner or some twenty pieces of jewelry (watches, necklaces, rings, bracelets), all from two burglaries which had been the subject of complaints.
During his custody, the individual, already well known to the police, claimed to have bought all these objects from an acquaintance for a small fee. He will be tried in March.
All the objects could be returned to their owners.
