But scuffles quickly broke out. Some attacked street furniture and caused damage. Images and videos on social networks reported excesses.
An arrest
The establishment is known for its unsanitary problems. At the end of February, some teachers and members of the educational community exercised their right of withdrawal to request renovations. “The situation is worrying. Measures were taken ten years ago. But as the establishment is extremely poorly maintained, they have deteriorated significantly”, explains Soulef Bergounioux, history professor and representative of the Force Ouvrière union. One person was arrested and two police officers were injured.
