Ears cut off, feet burned, torture by simulated drowning: a man experienced a real night of horror, he was two weeks old, at the hands of sympathizers of the kingpin Dave “Pic” Turmel.

The newspaper obtained many shocking details about the events that took place from February 18 to 19 in Montmagny and Saint-Malachie, in Chaudière-Appalaches.
The man, whose identity we have chosen not to reveal for security reasons, is one of the many victims of the conflict between “Pic” and the Hells Angels of the Capitale-Nationale for control of the sale of narcotics.
On Sunday evening, he was invited to go to a residence in Montmagny with acquaintances connected to the Blood Mafia Family (BFM), Turmel’s gang.
He had no idea that he was walking straight into a trap, even though he had recently decided to end his “business relations” with the BFM. Obviously, this had displeased the gang.
The man was first severely beaten, before being taken by force to another residence, where at least three BFM sympathizers sequestered and tortured him, using techniques worthy of Mexican drug cartels.

Water torture
Throughout the following hours, he was beaten several times in addition to being the victim of an escalation of incredibly violent physical abuse.
According to our information, the victim suffered “at least” three episodes of waterboarding, or a method of torture by water. She was forced to keep her head underwater, while a cloth was stuffed into her mouth, preventing her from breathing.
Then, the attackers doused his feet with gasoline, before setting them on fire. They repeated this martyrdom “a few times” by putting out the flames “with their boots,” according to our sources.
Suffering from intense pain, the victim then lost consciousness.
When she woke up a few hours later, she found herself 80 kilometers away, in the middle of a barn in St-Malachie, in Beauce.
It is precisely at this location that a major police operation took place on February 19.

“Cut exactly”
Another hostage, Stéphane Boutin, 51, was also tied up there. The Journal also revealed last week that his uncle, aged over 70, was savagely beaten by members of the BFM.
Under gunpoint, tied to his arms and feet, the man who had been kidnapped in Montmagny was then “cut exactly” between each toe, then under the soles of his feet, already seriously burned.
Still according to our information, the victim then managed to escape from the barn, before being caught by his attackers.
Both ears cut off
Far from being at the end of her suffering, she finally suffered the unimaginable. The attackers, who were “at least” two and who were wearing a hood, cut off both of his ears.
A video showing a similar scene, just as disturbing, was also revealed by our Bureau of Investigation last week.
In the hours that followed, Boutin managed to free himself from the bonds that held him captive to seek help from neighbors.
The victim was still at the scene and was able to be treated by the ambulance services.
33 arrests
Remember that this violent hostage-taking cost the life of Patrick Martin, 29, who had recently joined Dave “Pic” Turmel’s group.
Nine people were arrested last week in connection with the events in Montmagny and Saint-Malachie. They face various criminal charges, including kidnapping, forcible confinement and serious assault.
Other arrests could be made soon, according to our police sources.
The “Pic” Turmel gang has increased its violent acts in recent weeks, notably by torturing and mutilating Hells Angels sympathizers. To calm things down, police launched Operation Scandalous, during which they have arrested a total of 33 people to date.
