Valérie Hayer encourages “left-wing voters” to vote for her rather than for Raphaël Glucksmann

Just named head of the presidential majority list for the Europeans, Valérie Hayer makes an appeal “to left-wing voters” tempted to vote for Raphaël Glucksmann. “Look who is influential, who has the capacity to move the lines in Europe”declared the MEP, Monday March 4 on France Inter. “Today it’s us, it’s the third force [au Parlement européen]the group Renew”assures the one who claims not to be a substitute candidate when all the tenors refused.

“If we truly want to have a capacity for action on social issues, on environmental transition issues, we must be able to hold the line in each of our political groups”, she insists. The political group to which the head of the Socialist Party/Public Square list belongs is the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, the second largest.

“We vote the same thing”

“I regret that in Brussels, we vote the same thing, but that Raphaël Glucksmann remains subservient to the Socialist Party, under the control of Jean-Luc Mélenchon”she declares.

In the latest polls carried out in preparation for the European elections, the list of the presidential majority is lagging behind by around ten points on average over that of the National Rally, led by Jordan Bardella. These polls were carried out before the Macronist camp formalized the name of its head of list.
