The Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the use of forgery, notably involving the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, franceinfo learned on Thursday February 29, confirming information from the weekly Marianne. The general secretary of the government, Claire Landais, is also targeted by this investigation.
Environmental activist Raymond Avrillier made a report last April to the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office. This report was then transferred to the Paris prosecutor’s office. He denounces the opacity of the negotiations between the government and private companies which had seen their concessions extended for a period of three years, in 2015.
