Friday, in his column of DutyJean-François Lisée (who can be heard every day on the show I host on QUB, alongside Marie Montpetit) published testimonies from teachers affirming that hatred, denigration and contempt for Quebec culture and identity are doing very well in our schools.
Excerpt from a teacher’s testimony:
“While we were in the middle of a discussion about our values, one of the two native students raised his hand to speak. That’s when the whole group started laughing and booing saying that the Kebs had no values and that our girls and women are actually sluts.”
“I quickly intervened and was cut off by a tall guy of North African origin who said to me: “Madam, you cannot understand because the Kebs have no culture. You do white people’s things like go to the cabin and go skiing and you don’t educate your children.”

“Montreal not bilingual enough”
Jean-François Lisée’s hard-hitting – and depressing – column has of course triggered a big wave of sympathy towards Quebecers (message to people who don’t have a sense of humor: I’m being ironic here).
Here are some reactions gleaned here and there on X…
First, messages signed Adam Brahimin, whose Twitter page displays a sign of the Algerian flag on the flag of Canada. (Most of his posts are written in English).
“The more I read people’s interventions on social media, the more I am happy to see that the opposition to the “natives” is growing day after day. The time is approaching when, in Montreal, they will shut their mouths and walk straight.”
“The “natives” are rejected in their own schools and it is moving more and more in this direction. We feel the beginning of a movement where more and more people will stand up and refuse this monolithic white French-speaking bloc.”
“Forcing immigrants who settle in Quebec to learn French is forcing them to learn a language that will be of no use to them.” (sic)

“The Italian community is a model to follow. They refused to send their children to mediocre French schools and send them to English schools.”
Other reactions…
Media Salman (message written in English): “During my stay in Montreal, I suffered discrimination. I like Montreal but this city should be more bilingual.”
Ah, because it is not enough?
Slazac: “Quebecers don’t really speak French. French speakers who come from other countries can’t even understand them.”
Quebec is Racist, Backwards, Uneducated Garbarge (this is the poetic name chosen by this user of French prevents Canada from moving forward.”
Useful idiots
And we can always count on the French-speaking useful idiots of the radical left to join this pack – like Judith Lefebvre who, in the webzine The pivotwrote:
“Quebec’s choice is isolation and mediocrity. Quebec has a white supremacy problem.”
Not bad is not it?
