“I ruined my life, it’s all over”
On February 22, 2023, Agnès Lassalle gave her class at the Saint-Thomas d’Aquin high school in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). The 16-year-old student took action at 9:45 a.m., closing the classroom, with a roll of Sopalin in hand. He then took out a knife and struck his teacher. “I ruined my life, it’s all over”, he would then have declared. The teenager was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention.
