passed away this Wednesday
February 21 as announced by his son-in-law‘AFP.
“Micheline passed away peacefully, at the National House of Artists in Nogent-sur-Marne in Val-de-Marne”, Olivier Bomsel told AFP. He also indicated that the funeral would take place in privacy. Aged 101, Micheline Presle began his career in the 1930s and was able to respond to the biggest names in the seventh art. Claude Chabrol, Patrick Chesnais, Edouard Molinaro and Sacha Guitry were his playing partners.

Almost four years after the death of her daughter, Micheline Presle died
Without forgetting his roles in the films Venus Beauty (1999) and France Shop (2003). Feature films directed by his daughter Tonie Marshall. The latter, died on March 12, 2020 after a long fight against illness, at the age of 68. It was the agent of Micheline Presle’s daughter who announced the terrible news to AFP.
The doyenne of cinema will therefore join her daughter whom she has been crying for almost four years. She who played in “Paradis Perdu”, “Falbalas”, “Le Diable au corps”, “La Dame aux Camélias” or “Le Baron de l’Ecluse”, she received the 2004 Honorary César in the theater… Tony Marshall.
