France paid tribute to Robert Badinter. A crowd gathered on Place Vendôme, in Paris, Wednesday February 14 to honor the memory of the former Minister of Justice, architect of the abolition of the death penalty.
Wednesday February 14, Place Vendôme in Paris, the memory of Robert Badinter was celebrated by France and hundreds of citizens. Former Minister of Justice, his idea of justice was also honored under the windows of the ministry, 43 years after his speech given before the National Assembly to abolish the death penalty.
