After his surprise elimination during the first council of the reunified tribe of Koh-Lanta, The Legend, Namadia is definitely leaving the adventure. Indeed, the former member of the Red Korok failed during his clash against Coumba on the island of the banished. Namadia then joined the residence of the final jury. The adventure is over for him and it is also the opportunity to indulge without filter and with his humor so much appreciated by viewers with Purepeople.com.
How did you experience your elimination against Coumba on the island of the banished?
It was a really tough duel. Coumba, it was not the opponent that I would have liked. But that’s the game, when you have to go you have to go. It was not easy. Afterwards, I did not experience my defeat badly, I took it as a consolation prize. I said to myself: “If it’s not me, it’s Coumba.” I hope she can go to the end and come back to the adventure. If so, it’s like a part of me is coming back too. So losing against Coumba, I took it better than if I had lost to one of the girls who eliminated me. I would have had it bad I think.
Before landing on this island, you were eliminated at the First Council of the Reunified Tribe. Why did you protect Alexandra?
Simply because I got along very well with her, we talked a lot together. I couldn’t see myself eliminating him at all. Before going to the council, Jade suggested that I vote against Alexandra instead and I said no. I didn’t think she would have voted against me at all. She’s the last person I imagined doing that. Really a big surprise for me.
Do you understand his explanation?
So you have to know something first: Clémence proposed to Alix and Alexandra to vote against Claude. The girls refused. I think there is the fallout behind. Eliminating a Claudius and eliminating a Namadia don’t have the same impact. But that is my opinion. After that, the fact that I already had a voice against me, I can hear that it played. Although I think that with the three voices and the amulet, they could have made anyone come out. I am not convinced by the explanations of Alexandra and Alix. Clémence, she was not in the game and did not know what had happened. I admit that it pained me a bit to be eliminated by both of them after all that we lived with the Reds, the hardships we went through etc … I found that a little light but that’s the game.
Why not have considered that Clémence gives up her immunity amulet to one of the girls?
Jade told me that she didn’t feel it after all, right before the advice. She brought up the idea of Clémence giving her amulet to Alix and suggested that I focus my voices against Alexandra. And given Clémence’s speech when the ambassadors returned, I told myself that even if she gave her amulet to Alix, it was Christelle who would be targeted by the votes. Because it was she who made sure that it was eliminated. I was thinking of revenge. Me, at no time did I feel in danger. And in Koh Lanta, this is where we are in danger.
Have you had any explanations since?
I was able to chat a bit with Clémence. She explained her choice to me. She said she proposed Claude but that faced with Alix and Alexandra’s refusal, she turned to me because I already had a voice against me. She wanted to eliminate a boy and not a girl. I found that a shame because at that time, with the Reds at least, we were not in this strategy at all. Besides, I wanted to vote against Alix but I did not go to see the others to set up a strategy.
You say you want to vote against Alix because “it’s personal”. What does this mean?
Its a question of confidence. There was a girl alliance that she betrayed to save Laurent. So tomorrow she would be ready to betray one of us for someone else. Nothing happened between us, but I told myself that she was not reliable on this point.
You had a vote against you because you had lost immunity. What role did Phil play?
Phil moved. He waves his arm, I drink the cup and I panicked. But that’s not the reason I lost immunity, it’s not his fault. Especially since Teheiura took the wave too and he held on. My mistake is to have panicked.
Your departure from the council makes Jade cry. How do you live it?
I think that’s where the girls, namely those who voted against me, realize that I had a place in the team. Alexandra already knew that in my opinion. Jade was all the more touched that Alexandra voted against me. We did not expect that. Alix, I don’t even blame him: from the start, we didn’t feel each other. There are people with whom we have no hook, that’s life.
Laurent also let his grief explode … He was your friend of the adventure. You even say during a live that the two of you were having “secret meetings”. What were you talking about?
(Laughs) We would meet in the evening to talk about the day. We exchanged above all on what had happened or was going to happen. For example, the last discussion was about the ambassadorial meeting. We thought, “If you go, what do you do? We have to convince Phil, tell him this or that.” It was mostly little advice. Laurent, he’s my sidekick.
What do you think of the women’s alliance?
(Laughs) For me, honestly, Coumba didn’t need to make this feminine wedding ring. But again, I think the viewer didn’t get it or pretend they didn’t get it. This alliance suits all the girls, they are all happy to make it. So I don’t understand why Coumba is being blamed. In the pictures, it is very clear. She brought up the idea of eliminating Claude if he ever found himself in danger with a girl, that’s all. Afterwards, when I heard that, I burst out laughing. Coumba eliminate Claude? Impossible. Maybe she really meant it at the time, but for me it was mostly to unite the girls.
How did the reunion go with your family, with your wife and your five children?
Gorgeous ! It was top of the line. Everyone was happy. I was able to pick up my children from school. They were surprised, they didn’t know I was coming home at all. It was an exceptional, magical moment.
Who do you think will win Koh-Lanta, The Legend ?
I would like it to be Jade or Laurent. I will be happy !
