The high mass of American football is back. The Super Bowl pits the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers, Monday February 12 (12:30 a.m.), at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada (United States). The winner of this 58th edition will be crowned NFL champion, the North American championship. Title holders, the Chiefs are favorites thanks to a fourth participation in the Super Bowl in five seasons. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ teammates hope to win their fourth crown.
Opposite, the San Francisco 49ers are looking for a sixth coronation in their history (including four in the wake of legendary quarterback Joe Montana), the first since 1995. They remain on two defeats in the Super Bowl, the last of which, in 2020, against the Chiefs (31-20). After Rihanna’s performance last year, it is the American R&B singer Usher who will perform the famous halftime concert.
