New strikes in Ukraine caused the deaths of seven people, including three children, in Kharkiv. Russian shooting at a gas station caused a large fire, which destroyed several homes.
Almost nothing remains of the affected houses in Kharkiv (Ukraine) on the morning of Saturday February 10. Firefighters are still working amid the smoking rubble. Seven bodies were found, including those of a couple and their three children. “My mother-in-law called, said it was burning, and she was looking out the window and saw the flames. She called back and started yelling that the fire had spread through the house. We We heard the last cries, and that’s it.”testifies Natalia, the daughter-in-law of the deceased couple.
Around fifteen houses affected
Three Russian drones hit a gas station. The burning fuel spilled into the street and affected around fifteen houses. “According to available information, about 3,800 tons of fuel were stored in this oil depot. The whole street turned into an infernal molten mass, because the fuel mixed with the snow and began to burn”, explains Sergiy Bolbinov, the head of the investigation department of the national police in Kharkiv. 50 people were able to be evacuated and relocated. The places are still monitored by the authorities.
