The continuation of the reshuffle of Gabriel Attal’s government was announced on Thursday February 8 evening. Several new ministers entered the government.
Act 2 of the reshuffle was announced on the evening of Thursday February 8. Nicole Belloubet, former Minister of Justice for the first five-year term, was discreetly received at the Élysée. She became Minister of National Education. The one who was rector of the academy replaces Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, who retains the ministry of Sports and the Olympic Games. Frédéric Valletoux, close to Édouard Philippe, becomes Minister of Health. He was head of the French Hospital Federation for eleven years.
No minister from civil society
At the Ministry of the Economy, the ministers surrounding Bruno Le Maire do not change. Roland Lescure remains in Industry, Thomas Cazenave in Budget, Olivia Grégoire is Minister for SMEs and Jean-Noël Barrot in Digital. Among the new entrants, Guillaume Kasbarian is in Housing, Marina Ferrari will take care of European issues and Marie Guévenoux from Overseas. No new minister comes from civil society.
