(Las Vegas) Lamar Jackson was a near-unanimous choice as the NFL’s Most Valuable Player on Thursday, earning the honor for a second time.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback received 49 of 50 first-place votes.
The ballot included members of the media who regularly cover the NFL, former players and coaches.
Jackson led the Ravens to the NFL’s best regular season record, 13-4.

The team lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
At 27, Jackson is the fourth player to achieve the honor twice before turning 28, after Patrick Mahomes (27), Brett Favre (27) and Jim Brown (22).
Jackson also had the same distinction for the 2019 season.
Jackson had 3,678 air yards and 24 touchdowns. He added 821 yards rushing, including five touchdowns.
Baltimore has earned 10 wins against clubs that finished the season with a winning record.
