The Laval Police Department (SPL) discovered on Wednesday the inanimate bodies of a 43-year-old man and his 67-year-old father in an apartment on rue d’Orly, in the Laval-des-Rapides sector.
It is still too early to confirm what happened, said Stéphanie Beshara, spokesperson for the SPL. “The investigation will tell us, but it may take some time,” she added.
Laval law enforcement officers first went to the scene around 10 a.m., after receiving a call from their Montreal colleagues asking them to check the state of health of an occupant of this accommodation.
The police found the two people lifeless when they entered the apartment, reported Mme Beshara.
