During the tribute, Emmanuel Macron spoke of a “anti-Semitic massacre”. “It’s nothing else (…) I think you have to be from France Insoumise not to consider these massacres as an aggressiveness of rare barbarity against the Jewish people”, adds the elected representative of the National Rally. The RN delegation arrived together, wearing scarves in an apolitical moment, which the other parties did not do. For Edwige Diaz, this attitude was not out of place.
She refutes any recovery
“We were present as elected representatives of the Republic. Given the solemnity of the moment, it seemed normal and even respectful towards the victims to come as parliamentarians of the Republic”, she argues.
