A few months to wait before his return! Fans of Mimie Mathy
and in particular of the series in which she plays the main character, Joséphine, guardian angel, had started to worry for several weeks. In fact, no filming of a possible new episode was planned. And for good reason, Benoist Gérard’s partner and the soap opera teams could not do otherwise.
The 66-year-old actress gave the reason for her “forced rest” this Tuesday, February 6, 2024 on her X account, formerly Twitter. Mimie Mathy took the pose alongside his companion to give the reasons for his absence and took the opportunity to announce excellent news. “I’m starting filming again for #JoséphineAngeGardien in mid-May”she announced to her community before giving the reason for her long absence: “because my comrade Bruno Debrandt who will be my guest was not free before. That’s the only reason. I’m ready to tour all year round without any problem”.

Health concerns for Mimie Mathy a few months ago
Enough to reassure everyone after the revelations made about his health in December 2023 to our colleagues at TV Mag.
During this interview, Mimie Mathy assured that she would “GOOD” despite the fact that she could not “run like a gazelle”. “I may use a wheelchair when I’m at the station and my seat on the train is at the end of the platform, but I walk as best I can”she also confided.
And for good reason, the 66-year-old actress underwent major surgical interventions: “I had four back operations due to herniated discs. I had cauda equina syndrome which causes all the nerves to get stuck and which is linked to my somewhat original configuration”. Despite her convalescence, it was not her health that deprived her of filming Joséphine, guardian angel but a scheduling problem for a guest.
