Les Amis de la montagne offers to introduce you to snowshoeing in the light of the city, while exploring the mountain and its winter atmosphere.
The sound of the wind in the trees. And that of footsteps in the snow. The talk of the town. And the snow that sparkles. An evening snowshoe hike on Mount Royal combines romance, discovery of trails and a breath of fresh air. At the end of the 90-minute walk (with a guide), a hot chocolate awaits walkers. You can also stop at the Café des Amis for something to eat. Children are welcome (12 years and over). Good for the heart – in every way!

In the elegant Cour des Palmiers room, at the entrance to the hotel, trays of small classic sandwiches and delicate pastries follow one another. In a charming church dating from 1880, concerts are held by the light of hundreds of candles. Signed by the company Fever, the one created especially for Valentine’s Day, Friday February 9, offers 60 minutes of classical music: Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Wagner, Puccini and other geniuses resonate in the nave. Please note that the experience is recommended for children aged 8 and over, and the locations are wheelchair accessible.

At the Cotard Academy in Saint-Sauveur, chocolate lovers can learn to make their own chocolate creations. For two hours, students, young and old, will taste, stir, mold and cook high-end chocolate, guided by masters. Aprons and hair nets are included. Another idea, for those with a sweet tooth: a chocolate tasting workshop given in the store (30 minutes), sensory taste sheet included. Something to awaken the taste buds!
