A three-part documentary series about the life of actress Elizabeth Taylor is in the works for the BBC and Kim Kardashian’s name is linked to the project.
The reality TV star will co-produce this documentary which will look back on Elizabeth Taylor’s career as an actress and activist through the testimonies of “those who knew her best”, indicates the BBC, in a press release.
Among the relatives interviewed was actress Joan Collins, a friend who had also auditioned for the title role in the film Cleopatrareleased in 1963, or even the Dr Anthony Fauci, who collaborated with Elizabeth Taylor in the fight against AIDS. Kim Kardashian, who was the last to interview the great actress before her death in 2011, will also give a testimony.
Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar will show previously unpublished extracts from the woman who was also a businesswoman.
“Elizabeth Taylor was a fighter, a person in her own right. She is proof that you can evolve, change and have different chapters in your life. She paved the way for all those who came after her thanks to this model,” says Kim Kardashian, in the press release.
