With Omicron, it’s different. “If we wait six months, this time the effectiveness is less than 20% against infections “, warns Damien Mascret. We realize that if we did this booster from the third month, when we are at 40% efficiency, “maybe we could regain 70, 80% efficiency against infections, which would limit the circulation of the virus, the height of the wave”, details the journalist.
