Sunday in the NHL | Eberle scores three points and the Kraken win 4-2 against the Blue Jackets

Jordan Eberle scored two goals and added an assist and the Seattle Kraken, who scored three goals in the first period, defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2 on Sunday night.

Jared McCann scored and had an assist, Brandon Tanev scored and Oliver Bjorkstrand had two assists in the victory. Joey Daccord stopped 30 shots.

Yegor Chinakhov scored both Blue Jackets goals and goaltender Daniil Tarasov stopped 23 shots. The Blue Jackets have lost seven of their last nine meetings.

Eberle opened the scoring for the Kraken with 7:20 remaining in the first period.

McCann doubled his team’s lead with less than four minutes remaining in the period.

Tanev completed the scoring by scoring into an empty net with 13 seconds left in regulation.
