Available for delivery in less than a week, the house was purchased for US$30,000 before taxes and delivery charges.
Offering a bathroom, a bedroom and a common room, the house will be located on one of its grounds, claims user @gilgra2023, in an excerpt posted on TikTok.
Supporting transaction, the prefabricated housing has dimensions of 19 feet by 20 feet and is designed by the company “Doinuo Stores”.
“There are several sizes available […] I wanted to get one [maison] which had enough space to obtain monthly income. The goal is to get $800 or $750. I think I will easily succeed in obtaining it,” he underlines, in a publication viewed more than a million times.
The American adds that the house models on Amazon were less expensive than those found at Home Depot, he says.
The models range in price from US$18,000 to US$30,000, according to information available on Amazon’s US website. Purchasing is not possible from the Canadian platform.
The purchase of small prefabricated housing is seen as a solution to combat the housing crisis, several Internet users point out.
The average price of housing in the United States is more than US$1,700, according to the specialized site “RentCafe”.
