The Polish government approved, on Wednesday January 24, a bill opening free access to the “morning after pill” which the previous nationalist populist government had severely limited, announced Prime Minister Donald Tusk. “The matter has been finalized, the bill will be sent to parliament”declared Donald Tusk, specifying that the project provides completely free access to this method “from the age of 15”.
Donald Tusk also announced that, in accordance with his electoral promises, he was ready to table in parliament a bill liberalizing abortion in this country where the law on abortion is among the most restrictive in Europe. “We are ready to file in the next few hours” this text authorizing “legal and safe abortion up to the 12th week of pregnancy”did he declare.
