Johnny Hallyday’s ex-partner shared the “bad news” with his community through a text published on his Instagram account. “It is with great love and emotion that I will meet you at the Dôme de Paris for my farewell tour”she wrote, announcing at the same time three dates in the Parisian venue.

The artist, now 79 years old and with 40 million records sold, was immediately invited by Yann Barthès to talk about the end of her career. On Daily, Sylvie Vartan recognizes that there is “a sad side” in this ad. But she prefers to say goodbye to the stage now before the “concert too many”. “I grew up with this audience, I’ve been singing for 60 years, do you realize? The years go by and you have to know how to leave. It was so fast, so violent and passionate in every way”she also confided to Yann Barthès.

Moved like his mother’s fans, David Hallyday is sure his mother’s farewell tour will be something “huge” thanks to the memories that will come back during the interpretation of certain titles and by the emotion that will be present. “She sang everywhere, I’m still learning about it today. Few have gone that far, I find it absolutely extraordinary. At the same time, it was her life”he continues before concluding: “I still want to go see her in concert, it reminds me of things too. That’s what it is when you have a family of artists, there are so many memories”. The artist, now 57 years old, asks the public “to go and see” his mother in “hoping it won’t be the last (his tour)”.
