In Wales, the gigantic factory of the Indian steel giant Tata Steel, equipped with two blast furnaces, will replace them with less polluting electrical equipment requiring less labor. The consequence is clear: nearly 3,000 jobs will be lost. Employees are in shock: “Disappointment and disbelief are not strong enough words”testifies Shaun Spencer, employee.

There were thousands of them in the capital Bratislava: demonstrators, hostile to the plan to revise the penal code wanted by the government, expressed their discontent.
