After the reshuffle of Gabriel Attal’s government, announced on January 11, Éric Dupond-Moretti remains Keeper of the Seals. Guest of 12/13 info, director Alexandre Darmon reacts to his appointment.
A lawyer by profession, Éric Dupond-Moretti remains in the government at the head of the Ministry of Justice, under the aegis of the new Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal. “He wanted to stay there, it wasn’t a secret”reacts Alexandre Darmon, director of A minister who shouldn’t be, documentary on Éric Dupond-Moretti, broadcast on January 14 on France 5.
Respect the presumption of innocence
At the Ministry of Culture, Rima Abdul-Malak is replaced by Rachida Dati, indicted in the Ghosn affair. “I don’t think he will give him a lesson in that regard, he talks a lot about the presumption of innocence in the documentary (…) he himself wanted his own to be respected”, believes the director. In addition, the minister was singled out for his inaction in the face of sexist and sexual violence, a subject ardently defended by Rachida Dati. “We saw, during trips, that he is expected around the corner”says Alexandre Darmon.
