Quebecers 60 and over can make an appointment for their booster dose

As of Monday, December 27, Quebecers aged 60 and over can make an appointment online to receive their booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Prime Minister’s office has also confirmed that François Legault, who is 64 years old, would receive his third dose of vaccine on Monday afternoon.

To be eligible for the booster dose, you must have received your second dose of vaccine in at least three months.

According to the most recent open data released by the Quebec government, 7,873 new cases were reported on Sunday and three more deaths. The day before, there were 9,206 new cases and four deaths reported.

In order to slow down the fifth wave of the pandemic propelled by the contagiousness of the Omicron variant, Quebec imposes a maximum of six guests or a maximum of two family bubbles during private gatherings or in restaurants. Outdoor gatherings are limited to 20 people.
